General Objectives: To recognise groups which are particularly vulnerable to situations of poverty and social exclusion. Specific: To identify groups which are vulnerable to poverty and social exclusion. To verify that certain contexts significantly increase social vulnerability. To find out some data enabling the relationship between poverty and belonging to certain social groups to be established. Contents - Knowledge Conceptual (declarative): Social vulnerability Vulnerable groups Procedural: Identification of vulnerable groups: women (the feminisation of poverty), children, people with handicaps, ethnic minorities, immigrants, the elderly, drug addicts, people who are ill. The relationship of vulnerability to contexts of social risk. Analysis of statistical data which reveals the groups which make up most pockets of poverty. Attitude: Sensitivity to groups which are particularly vulnerable to poverty and social exclusion. Prior knowledge: Not needed. Access the learning guide for the object.
