The difficulty of enjoying the basic right to information and communication for people with sensory and other disabilities.

Orientación didáctica:

General Objectives: To raise awareness on issues which make access to information and communication difficult for people with sensory and motor disabilities. Specific: To analyse the issues which make access to information and communication difficult for people with sensory and motor disabilities. To find out about technical resources and support systems which enable access to information and communication for people with such disabilities. Contents - Knowledge Conceptual (declarative): Alternative systems of communication: Braille and sign language. Technological and functional aids. Web site accessibility Procedural: Analysis of situations in which people with disabilities have difficulties with or cannot access communication and information. Observation of the adaptations and aids which facilitate access to information and communication. To recognise the systems and aids which facilitate access to information and communication. To identify the difficulties in accessing information and communication with the difficulty of effectively exercising a basic right. Attitude: To reject restrictions on the right to information and communication due to disabilities. Sensitivity to everyday situations which make the right to information and communication difficult. Prior knowledge: Not necessary. Access the learning guide for the object.
