In this unit we will be working with the full form of the verb "have got" by asking for and giving information about our families. We will also be able to give and ask for information using the verb 'to be' in both the present and the past. This will allow us to review the first two objectives in this sequence.

Orientación didáctica:

Objectives: To review the use and functions of the full form of the verb "to have"?. Specific: To learn to use the full forms of the verb "to have"? (in the context of the family), both with and without pronoun subjects. Conceptual (declarative): Vocabulary: Parents, father, mother, brother, sister, brothers and sisters, uncle, aunt, gradparents, grandfather, grandmother, cousin, cousins, nephew, niece Grammar: Present simple of the verb ‘to have’ in its full form: Affirmative: I have (got) two brothers and one sister. Questions: How many cousins have you got? Have you got any nieces? Negative: I haven’t got any nephews. Procedural: Matching text-audio and illustrations. Completing an e-mail. Making a family tree for a friend using information obtained from a letter, e-mail, phone call, meeting, etc. Attitude: To be aware of the importance of knowing other languages in order to be able to communicate with others. Recognising and evaluating the importance of knowing how to communicate in a foreign language. Prior knowledge: Knowledge of English from the second stage. Basic knowledge of the verb “to have”.
