This Learning Sequence aims to help learners to understand the various elements involved in comparisons, both of quantity and quality, in order to build phrases, and to understand and use comparatives, superlatives and comparative phrases.
Objectives: General: To understand and identify (orally) the various forms of comparisons. Specific: To understand and differentiate orally the various forms of comparisons. Prior knowledge: No prior knowledge of French is required at the elementary level. At the intermediate level, learners need to have acquired the knowledge from the elementary level. Users navigate through the various activities intuitively. Conceptual (declarative): To identify comparative forms and to use them orally and in writing. Procedural: The learning object in each phrase is a comparative form. To integrate elementary and intermediate levels: the first phrases from the elementary level and the last from the intermediate level. Attitude: To learn to identify and differentiate comparative forms in order to understand and use them in the spoken and written language. Consult the learning guide for the section.
