To link the existence of pockets of poverty with lack of schooling. Contents - Knowledge Conceptual (declarative): Formal education On-going training Procedural: Relating education and training with increased life and professional opportunities. Analysis of situations in which training is required in order to access the world of work. Location on maps or charts of pockets of poverty, and the relationship of these with levels of illiteracy. Analysis of a case in which extreme poverty relegates formal education from its priority position.
