Considering the consequences for ourselves and for others when we make a decision.

Orientación didáctica:

General Objectives: Assume the importance of making decisions in a responsible way, assessing the consequences for oneself and for others. Develop consequential thought Specific: Analyse different options before making a decision and assuming the consequences. Know some strategies for considering the consequences of a decision: the list of possible alternatives. Envisage the consequences of a decision before making it: advantages and disadvantages for oneself and for others. Recognise the consideration of the consequences of a decision as a factor for preventing interpersonal conflicts. Contents – Conceptual Knowledge (declarative): Responsible decision making Consequential thinking of a procedural nature: Proposal of various alternatives prior to decision making. Drawing up of lists of alternatives and foreseeable consequences of a decision. Analysis of the consequences foreseen for oneself and for others of the different options put forward. Attitude: Assessment of responsible decision making. Understand the need to foresee the consequences of a decision to foster and improve interpersonal relations and personal well-being. Prior knowledge: Not needed. Access the learning guide for the object.
