In this unit we work with the third person singular of the Present Simple and meet some pets and their owners.
Objectives: To find out about, learn, understand and use accurately vocabulary related to the world of animals; and to use this vocabulary in the Present Simple by describing, comparing and asking questions about animals. Specific: To learn and fluently use vocabulary related to animals. Contents Knowledge Conceptual (declarative): Animals. Use of the Present Simple. The third person s. (See key words) Procedural: Development of ability to express oneself. Developing the ability to ask relevant questions in English. To learn to write this vocabulary correctly. Using the vocabulary in communicative situations. Attitude: To show an attitude of respect and care to animals. To value the importance of having some minimum resources which can be applied successfully in such communicative contexts or situations.
