In this unit we work with the third person singular of the Present Simple and meet some pets and their owners.

Orientació didàctica:

Objectives: To find out about, learn, understand and use accurately vocabulary related to the world of animals; and to use this vocabulary in the Present Simple by describing, comparing and asking questions about animals. Specific: To learn and fluently use vocabulary related to animals. Contents – Knowledge Conceptual (declarative): Animals. Use of the Present Simple. The third person –s. (See key words) Procedural: Development of ability to express oneself. Developing the ability to ask relevant questions in English. To learn to write this vocabulary correctly. Using the vocabulary in communicative situations. Attitude: To show an attitude of respect and care to animals. To value the importance of having some minimum resources which can be applied successfully in such communicative contexts or situations. Prior knowledge: To show an attitude of respect and care to animals.
