Study of mines
Knowledge type: declarative, procedural
prerequisite knowledge: Before working with this teaching sequence, the students must understand the concept of deposits and mineral and rock extraction. It would be interesting to ask the students to comment on whether they know or have ever seen a mine or a quarry.
Learning outcomes: To understand what soil is and its composition, knowing: on one hand, some minerals and rocks and where they are extracted (mines) and what they are used for, and on the other hand, the importance of soil for plants and living things, as well as the concepts of erosion and desertification.
