THE ANIMAL FILM ARCHIVE

Worksheet overview

Description:

MAIN TASK: in groups of four, they will choose two animals that appear on the list they have been completing throughout the sequence, and will edit a video about each of them. If possible, they will record one of the videos (with a video camera or mobile phone); in contrast, they will edit the other from images or videos found on the Internet with the help of the editor they used previously. They will then write the audio for the images, record it and attach it. OBJETIVE: To learn which criteria are used to classify the species of the Animal Kingdom according to groups and to ensure that students internalise this information. They will therefore identify, study and assess the wealth contained in the Animal Kingdom, as when we speak of animals, things tend to get confined to mammals or vertebrates. Students need to realise that the invertebrate group also exists and, what’s more, that there are more invertebrates than vertebrates.
