LEARNING OBJECTIVES To identify a simple harmonic vibration. To identify the different types of undulatory motion. To understand and be able to relate the different magnitudes of undulatory motion with each other. To understand and be able to explain qualitatively the characteristic phenomena of waves like interference, diffraction, reflection and refraction. To understand the undulatory nature of light and sound.
