KNOWLEDGE TYPE: declarative, procedural

PRIOR KNOWLEDGE:prior knowledge is required of the geography of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja, demographic knowledge of the area, historical, cultural and artistic and economic knowledge of the production of certain products. The student also needs to have some knowledge of the conservation of the protected natural spaces existing in La Rioja. It is assumed that prior to performing this SD, the student will have had knowledge of these subjects through their teacher at their corresponding educational centre and of the curricular development of the studies of Compulsory Secondary Education

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:to understand the current situation of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja in terms of its current population, its migration flows, what spaces the Community has catalogued as protected Natural Parks and Natural Regions, how the cultivation of one of the main crops, wine, influences the culture of the Community and finally, to understand how the fact that part of the pilgrims' route known as the "Camino de Santiago" on the Spanish peninsula runs through the lands of La Rioja has had an influence
