Tafuna' is a village on the east coast of Tutuila Island, American Samoa. It is located on a peninsula a mile north of Pago Pago International Airport and one mile south of Nu'uuli, American Samoa. Tafuna is the largest village in American Samoa, with a population of 8,209 according to the US Census in 2000, and is the center of nightlife on the island. The Cathedral of the Holy Family is located in the village.Pago Pago International Airport has the headquarters of Inter Island Airways. Island Choice Factory is headquartered in Tafuna. Main Store and Hotel are in Tafuna. Tradewide Hotel and Cost U Less Supermarket are in Tafuna. Kanana Fou Private School was built in 1979 for American Samoa Christian Church.
