Rube Goldberg was a cartoonist and engineer who published drawings in which their characters would use sophisticated machines for basic actions such as ringing a bell or as it appears in the image, for using a napking.
Now it is your time to create some preposterous but amusing machines. You just need to find the objective of your machine and the elements that you have at home that can put together the system. Be pacient, it probably takes you some time to make all the parts work.
It is a resource from the web tinkerlab, which tries to encourage children to be creative.
