prerequisite knowledge: The knowledge acquired during Primary year 3 is sufficient. In any case, it is recommended to cover some of the initial sections of the topic in class with the teacher.

Learning outcomes: General: To know the nutritional needs of a baby during the first three months. Natural and artificial nourishment. To know about early medical care and vaccines. To know about early hygiene care. Umbilical cord remains and bathing. To know about affective needs and handling by parents. To show interest in knowing about the lives of babies during the first three months of life. Specific: To use a multimedia animation to present the early needs of a baby during the first three months of life. To answer a questionnaire about the contents of this Learning Object.
