This unit provides a detailed study of similarity focusing specifically on similar triangles. The criteria governing similarity are analysed and exercises are carried out to focus in these criteria
TYPE OF KNOWLEDGE: procedural
AIMS To recognize and be able to construct similar triangles using any of the criteria studied in this unit. To understand the concept of ratio of similitude as well as know how to calculate it and apply it to solve problems with similar triangles.
Previous knowledge is not necessary. The contents required are explained in this course
