Practises the transformation of a simple expression of a measurement of mass into an equivalent complex expression, and vice versa.
The units of mass in the DMS are presented, along with their equivalents, drawing on parallels with the DNS and multiplication and division by a unit followed by zeroes.
Everyday problems are posed that are solved by adding or subtracting measurements of mass
Practises estimation and approximation in measuring mass, as well as calculation and the evaluation of errors made in each case
Everyday problems are posed that are solved by multiplying or dividing measurements of mass by a natural number.
We will simulate covering a surface with different patterns: triangles, quadrilaterals and hexagons. We will present the impossibility of mosaics with certain planar shapes.
