Poses problems and situations in which estimates must be made of measurement taking, measurements and calculations using temperature measurements.
Knowledge type: declarative, procedural
prerequisite knowledge: Units of temperature on the centigrade scale. Ordering of whole and decimal numbers. Physical characteristics of bodies, such as their physical state, colour and dimensions. Geographical references: lattitude, altitude, distance to the sea. Reading simple tables and graphs.
Learning outcomes: To solve problems involving measurements of temperature, using appropriate instruments, strategies and operations and evaluating the coherence and precision of the results.
