The educational resource shows a visual about the difference between mass and weight: mass is not the same as weight, although in ordinary life both words are used with the same meaning. In Physics, mass and weight are different concepts.

Orientación didáctica:

METHODOLOGY : Conceptual and procedural in a virtual environment.

TEACHING OBJECTIVES : To understand the difference between mass and weight. To quantify the value of the weight on the surface of the Earth. To analyze variables that take part in the weight of a body.

PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE:Definition of force. To know how a dynamometer and a balance work.
