TEACHING OBJECTIVES :To know what is a equipotential surface. To check that the gravitatonial potential depends on the mass and the distance. To check that the equipotential surfaces and the lines of force are perpendicular to each other.

PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE: Concepts of gravitational potential and gravitational force. Concept of line of force.
