Descripción:

Before starting this unit, students should have studied fractions in class in the traditional way, that is, using the board, a pencil and a piece of paper. These activities are suitable as a complement to reinforce and understand them better. In this unit every theoretical aspect is revised and a series of simple activities are done. The teacher barely has to take part because these activities are very easy and don't need much explanation. Furthermore, very simple numbers are used in the activities. Each page revolves around the interactive window, in which the student takes part using the mouse or the keyboard. When doing the activity, the student will immediately know if the answer is is right or wrong.

LEARNING OBJECTIVESTo understand the principles of: fraction, the value of a fraction, equivalent fractions, reduced fraction, rational number. To be able to do exercises of: simplifying a fraction, adding up fractions, subtracting fractions, multiplying fractions, dividing fraction.
