A best friend is important to everyone! In this opinion writing prompt, your kindergartener will write and draw about her best friend. It’s a great way to develop writing skills and work on spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. Instructions for the activity read: “Who is your best friend? What do you do together? Why is he or she your best friend? In one of the boxes below, draw a picture of your best friend. In the other box, draw a picture of something the two of you do together.. Then write about your friend on the lines below” Use the practice activity for Common Core Standards for Writing for kindergarten or for other students as appropriate.
