Contents – Conceptual Knowledge (declarative): The concept of citizenship which arose from the French revolution. The Declaration of the rights of women manifesto written by Olimpia de Gouges. Procedural: Analysis of the factors which resulted in women not being considered full citizens with their own rights during the French revolution. To research and find information about the contribution of Olimpia de Gouges in demanding equal rights for women. Analysis of the manifesto: The declaration of the rights of women and the citizeness. Strategies for understanding oral and written texts and a range of documentation. Attitude: To appreciate and value the thought of Olimpia de Gouges demanding equal rights for men and women. To value the importance of the list of rights demanded for women: votes, holding public office, participation in education, membership of armed forces, etc Prior Knowledge: Analysis of texts, Group work strategies.
