She lifted to Mexico , to consolidate her figure, as a worthy representative of Mexican women to the whole world, thanks to his starring role in the European and Mexican cinema. With Pedro Armendariz and Dolores del R?o, represents the most important figures of Latin American Cinema of the 1940s and 1950s.She is known by the nickname La Do?a winning name from her character in the film Do?a B?rbara (1943). She is also known as Mar?a Bonita, thanks to the anthem composed exclusively for her, as a wedding gift for the composer Agust?n Lara. She completed a film career that included 47 films made between Mexico, Spain, France, Italy and Argentina.
