About this resource...

Galileo Galilei was an Italian physicist, mathematician, astronomer and philosopher who played a promiment role in the Scientific Revolution. Some say that the most famous scientific experiment was him dropping things from the leaning tower of Pisa in order to prove that all objects fall at the same rate, whatever their mass. Now nobody knows if he really did this..maybe it was only a story passed on through many generations, since there is no documentation of this in Galileo's writings and it is accepted by many science historians that this experiment was indeed in Galileo's mind, but he never took action on this thought. In this simple experiment, we will demonstrate how denser objects fall faster thanobjects that are less dense.
