DIY Kaleidoscope craft for kidsA kaleidoscope is an instrument containing loose bits of colored material (as glass or plastic) between two flat plates and two plane mirrors so placed that changes of position of the bits of material are reflected in an endless variety of patterns. We have all made use of one at one time of our childhood. However, today we propose doing one with our children. 

Materials for the handicraft:

  • paper towel roll
  • ruler
  • multicolored translucent beads
  • glue
  • hot glue gun
  • clear plastic fruit box 
  • scissors
  • aluminum foil
  • empty cereal box
  • colored scrapbook paper
