About this resource...
The objective of this teaching sequence is for the students to acquire the skills necessary to improve their communicative competency, using the tools found in blogs as a means of communication. The structure of blogs and their functions will be analysed, as well as the possibilities for integrating Web 2.0 services.

Learning outcomes: Generales: General outcomes: The structure of blogs and their functions will be analysed, as well as the possibilities of semantic web service integration as a means for acquiring the skills necessary to improve communicative competence. Specific outcomes: To know the definition of a Blog, its characteristics and topics. To recognise the elements that make up the structure of a blog. To know the elements that make up a post and the role it plays in sharing information and generating knowledge. To know the services that are offered by blogs and the possibilities for using different media to enrich the information. To know the meaning of the terms (jargon) used to refer to blogs and their elements.
