Descripció:

The educational resource shows an interactive animation about the thermal equilibrium: when two substances at different temperatures are in contact, they exchange a certain amount of energy. One's temperature increases, and the other's decreaeses. In the end, they both reach the same temperature, which is known as equilibrium temperature.

Orientació didàctica:

TEACHING OBJECTIVES : To describe the heat like an energy in movement when the sistems are at different temperatures. To apply the exchanges of thermal energy for calculating equilibrium temperatures

PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE: Concepts of temperature, thermal energy and specific heat.

METHODOLOGY : Conceptual and procedural in a virtual environment.
