Descripció:

In this unit we are going to focus on polygons and their properties. We are going to find out about their angles, area and how they relate to the circumference of a circle in an active way.

KNOWLEDGE TYPE: procedural

LEARNING OBJECTIVESTo recognise, describe and draw polygons, know their basic characteristics and use the relevant terminology correctly. To develop geometrical intuition. To recognise and differentiate between different shapes that can tessellate the plane. To be aware of and work out the properties of polygons from simple but careful geometric reasoning.
