Descripció:

The educational resource shows an interactive animation about the latent heat concept: the energy needed to produce a change of phase per unit mass is known as latent heat. This energy does not contribute to increasing the velocity of the particles in the body, it modifies the forces of attraction among the particles, which are different in different states.

PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE:Concepts of heat and temperature.

TEACHING OBJECTIVES: To understand that the tempearture reaches for a body when it is heated it depends on the nature of the body.
