The weather is something everyone knows about! Your kindergartener will write about rain in this informational writing prompt. There’s also space in the worksheet for drawing pictures. Instructions for the activity read: “What is rain? Have you ever been in a rainstorm? How do people act in the rain? In one of the boxes below,
draw a picture of a rainstorm. In the other box, draw a picture of people in a rainstorm. Then write about
the rain on the lines below.” The practice activity is useful for kindergarten Common Core Standards for Writing, although you may use it with other students as needed.
