The units of mass in the DMS are presented, along with their equivalents, drawing on parallels with the DNS and multiplication and division by a unit followed by zeroes.

Orientazio didaktikoa:

Prerequisite knowledge: Concept of the measurement of mass as the result of a comparison to a unit of measurement. Decimal Numbering System: order and positional value of the digits.

Learning outcomes: To describe the structure of the Decimal Metric System of mass and practise its use in order to express the measurement of mass around us.
