To identify the characteristics of the different ftp and peer-to-peer applications. To know and identify the basic elements that make up the applications that use ftp and p2p networks. To know and use the ftp download functions of a web browser. To take the necessary steps to perform a file transfer. To manage connections to different ftp servers effectively. To use a client ftp and p2p application at a basic level. To apply the different transfer options correctly. To appreciate the importance of being able to access and share files globally. To appreciate the importance of respect for intellectual property and the appropriateness of turning to sources that expressly authorise its use.
