First aid programme

Ficha resumen

Descripción:

Through a virtual scenario, the aim is to make the students familiarise with the measures adopted initially with a casualty or person who gets suddenly ill, in the same place of the events, until specialised assistance can be obtained. It also aims at teaching them to be aware of the fact that to provide first aid no specific equipment or materials are necessary; at the very best, we will have the help of a basic first aid kit. The main objective of providing first aid and following the behaviour of protecting, reporting and assisting (PRA) will consist of avoiding worsening or deteriorating the lesions of the casualty as a consequence of an incorrect action.
