Here is an insightful activity that helps to teach students how to ask and answer questions with 'have got' and write sentences with 'has got'.

Students begin by going over the language on the worksheet and creating a 'Have you got...' question for each item, e.g. Have you got an older sister?  When the students have finished, they go round the class asking one another their questions. When a student finds someone who answers 'Yes, I have' to a question, they write that person’s name in the second column of the worksheet next to the item. The student then asks a follow-up question and writes the answer in the last column. When everyone has finished, the students write sentences about what they found out using 'has got'. Finally, students report back by reading their sentences to the class.
